To take a flight to Canada, all air passengers five years of age or older, including Canadians, are compulsorily required to show a negative COVID-19 molecular test result taken within 72 hours of their scheduled time of departure to Canada. If it’s not done, then the passenger will not be allowed to board the train. If the traveler has a connecting flight to Canada, the pre-departure test must be conducted within 72 hours of Canada’s last direct flight. This means they may need to schedule a COVID-19 test at their transit city within 72 hours of their direct flight to Canada. They did this to carry the safety of the passengers and make sure that separation is maintained.

Furthermore, it was also made compulsory that all travelers five years of age or older, including Canadians arriving in Canada by land, are required to show a negative COVID-19 molecular test result taken in the United States within 72 hours before crossing the border into Canada. This will help in taking further action. Moreover, travelers can present a positive COVID-19 molecular test taken between 14 and 90 days before departure.
